Originating from the heart of Swing City, the premier swing dance school and jazz club in Argentina, this band embodies the passionate and energetic spirit of the swing community. Led by Mariel Gastiarena, one of the most renowned swing dancers in Latin America with an international career, alongside the finest musicians from the local jazz scene, Swing City House Band delivers a unique show that masterfully integrates the music and dance of the Swing Era. Recognized on both local and international stages, it has been the main band at two Latin American editions of the International Lindy Hop Championships in Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. Its repertoire, which includes danceable Jazz, Swing and Rhythm & Blues classics from 1920s, '30s, and '40s, keeps the vibrant essence of this culture alive. Their album, "Bouncin' in Buenos Aires," available on all digital platforms, captures the contagious energy of their live performances, solidifying their position as a benchmark for swing in Latin America.
