Age minimums for each level are a general suggestion.

*Placement is determined by and is at the discretion of the director and the faculty.

Ballet 1, 2, 3, and 4 classes are offered multiple times per week - students may choose to enroll in one or all available classes.

Lyrical 2/3 and 3/4 require enrollment in one Modern or Jazz class of equal or greater level.

Pointe 3A, 3B, 4, and Lyrical 3/4 require enrollment in one additional Ballet class & one Conditioning class of equal or greater level.

Musical Theatre 2/3/4 require enrollment in one Jazz class of equal or greater level required - Tap strongly encouraged.

The Elective Program offers a pre-professional learning atmosphere, providing the highest quality of training alongside the students of The Company Program. At our dance studio, all students receive guided instruction through the levels by our professional faculty with attention given to each individual, maximizing their unique potential.

Since the root of all dance forms is ballet, all dancers enrolled in The Elective Program are required to enroll in at least one ballet class. Beyond that, the dancer has more freedom to elect additional classes from the curriculum to enhance their unique journey. Note: Please pay special attention to the requisites for each class as noted below.

Dancers enrolled in The Elective Program may be eligible to audition for specific DanCo Ensemble performances, as needed by the ensemble.
